PUSD ADA Upgrades

Location: San Diego, CA

ADA accessibility improvements were completed across multiple school campuses to enhance safety, accessibility, and compliance with current accessibility standards for students, staff, and visitors. The scope of work included the installation of new ADA-compliant concrete ramps, reconstruction of existing sidewalks, and repairs to pedestrian pathways to create smooth, continuous routes of travel throughout each campus.

Additional improvements included the construction and restriping of ADA-accessible parking spaces, installation of updated accessibility signage, and concrete replacement where existing surfaces had deteriorated or no longer met accessibility requirements. Existing walkways were re-patched and refinished to eliminate trip hazards and improve overall durability. These upgrades resulted in safer, more accessible campuses while improving pedestrian circulation, ensuring code compliance, and providing long-lasting infrastructure designed to better serve the needs of the school communities.
