Firestone Builders was enlisted by a national company seeking entry into the San Diego market to revamp their new space in alignment with their specific requirements. The adept Firestone team successfully transformed the area into a functional laboratory, a precision-calibrated room, and a dedicated service area. To cater to these new additions, we strategically modified the HVAC system, installed additional electrical outlets, overhead power and lighting, and laid down lab-grade sheet vinyl flooring.
Every new room was enhanced with expansive mullion-framed view windows seamlessly integrated into the walls. The laboratory received further utility with the addition of a new utility sink and eyewash station. In a creative maneuver, our team removed a portion of the exterior storefront glass, retrimming it to unveil an existing roll-up service door the client wished to reinstate for operational purposes. The project concluded with a comprehensive refresh of the entire space, including a new paint scheme, providing a polished and cohesive finish.
